Mens sana in corpore sano (a healthy mind in a healthy body) is a famous Latin quotation, often translated as, "A sound mind in a healthy body." It is derived from the aphorism, "Mens sana in corpore sano" or the saying of the pre-Socratic Greek philosopher Thales, "Νοῦς ὑγιὴς ἐν σώματι ὑγιεῖ".
